About Restaurant
Punjabi Dhaba is an Indian “roadside café” or dhaba–style eatery in the Inman Square neighborhood of Cambridge, Massachusetts. It has been operating since 1998 and is known for bringing bold Punjabi flavors to the Boston/Cambridge area. The atmosphere is casual and unpretentious, modeled on the simple dhabas found along highways in Punjab and neighboring regions. Seating is functional and basic; people order at the counter. There is a self‐service refrigerator for drinks like lassi etc. The menu is fairly broad, offering both vegetarian and meat‐based Punjabi dishes, as well as breads, rice, snacks (“chaat”), and lighter‐meal options. The “Dhaba Specials” are generous portions served with sides like naan, basmati rice, raita, onions etc. It is known for being budget‐friendly, serving hearty food, fresh and fast, in keeping with the dhaba tradition.
